2nd Shift Saw Operator

About the role

The Saw Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and tending to machines that cut metal according to customer specifications. This role requires high accuracy and efficiency in processing materials, verifying dimensions, and operating overhead cranes and forklifts.

Schedule

2nd Shift: 3:00 p.m. – 11:30 p.m., with availability to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate saw machines to process metal materials to meet customer specifications
• Ensure high levels of accuracy and efficiency in cutting processes
• Use measuring tools to verify the dimensions of finished workpieces
• Operate overhead cranes and forklifts as required
• Perform other tasks as assigned

Requirements

• Ability to accurately use standard measuring tools
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to follow instructions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
