2nd Shift Salvagnini Operator I N

Main Responsibilities

• Learn the basic aspects of operating the Salvagnini system(s), with emphasis on shearing and punching operations.
• Generate and report OEE Weekly Results.
• Inspect production for conformance to specifications (first piece inspection).
• Operate DNC controlled shear, punch, forming machine, laser and automated warehouse.
• Utilize punches, dies, measuring tape, hand tools, digital protractor, calipers and other equipment.
• Select and load raw material required and initiate production.
• Interfaces with computer system for production control, program editing, preventive maintenance, and SAP.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance such as but not limited to oil and lubrication.
• Audit / edit programs and nesting as needed.
