Key Responsibilities
- Document incidents such as failure to appear for visits, inability to provide specimens for testing, and non-compliance with program requirements.
- Perform urine toxicology specimen collection, adhering strictly to testing protocols, as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with program requirements by conducting regular drug screenings.
- May verify residents’ employment and home locations to ensure they meet contract standards and comply with program guidelines, as directed by the supervisor.
- Complete and document on-site home and work visits in line with program policies.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Relevant experience or skills may be considered in lieu of formal education.
- Drug testing and specimen collection experience preferred.
- An Associate degree in criminal justice, social services, or a related field is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Must be capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with basic computer proficiency.
- Physical ability to reach, stretch, bend, walk, and stand for extended periods as part of the daily duties.
- Ability to follow rules and regulations, as well as compliance tasks outlined in the Federal Bureau of Prisons’ Statement of Work.
