2nd Shift Quality Assurance Technician

Responsibilities

• Monitor product and procedures to ensure compliance with company, customer, and government specifications, taking corrective action as needed.
• Monitor compliance with HACCP programs.
• Communicate with customers, management, and sales on quality issues to ensure the plant meets customer and/or company specifications.
• Establish and maintain working relationships with production supervision and USDA personnel.
• Train and supervise QA Technicians on their respective shifts.
• Ensure the safety and motivation of all team members.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED; Two- or Four-Year College Degree preferred.
• Two years of experience in a poultry processing environment.
• QA, HACCP, and Food Safety experience preferred.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Good follow-up and employee relations skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
