2nd Shift Production- Pallet Jack Operator

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a good safety record.
• Safely operate powered industrial trucks, including forklifts and electric/manual pallet jacks.
• Move, load, unload, and store product throughout the facility.
• Follow all safety protocols and company procedures.
• Inspect and maintain equipment to ensure proper and safe operation.
• Support production teams by delivering materials as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment.
• Report equipment issues, safety concerns, or inventory discrepancies promptly.
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production goals.
• Adhere to all USDA and GMP (Good Manufacturing Processes) product standards and guidelines.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or related education.
• Must have both Pallet Jack and Forklift certification.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Communicate effectively and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Willing and able to perform physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Must be able to work in a team atmosphere.
• Must pass a background check, drug screen.
• Must be able to read and write.
• Accountable to maintain punctual and regular attendance for scheduled work hours.
• Must have Good mobility, good eye/hand coordination.
• Basic computer skills, as you will be required to check out PIT equipment through safety chain.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

• Prior Forklift operator experience.
• Previous experience working in a food manufacturing environment.
• Physical Demands: Standing (8 hours a day or more), frequent bending, lifting, pulling, and pushing of materials up to 50 lbs or more, ability to climb in and out of powered industrial trucks safely, good hand–eye coordination and ability to operate controls precisely, ability to work in a cold damp environment, capability to perform repetitive motions throughout the shift, maintain alertness and focus in a fast-paced environment, working in a wet environment, standing for long periods of time, and operating processing equipment.
• Working Conditions & Travel Requirements: Work is performed in a food processing plant with a high noise level, storage coolers/facilities. Position requires working around processing plant equipment.
