About the Role

We are a family-owned bottling company with a rich history in North America. Our 8,000+ driven employees deliver refreshment to over 30 million consumers across 13 states. As a Production Maintenance Technician, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing equipment to ensure smooth operations.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support to production lines by troubleshooting failures and making necessary repairs to production and facility equipment.
  • Complete all assigned work orders and preventative maintenance tasks through SAP.
  • Participate in rebuilds and overhauls on production line and support equipment.
  • Aid in parts management by ensuring parts are checked out of stock and communicating any deficiencies to the Parts Planner.
  • Communicate consistently with fellow maintenance staff through End of Shift reports.
  • Support the Swire Manufacturing Continuous Improvement (SMCI) process by participating in established routines with production operators and following up on top causes of downtime.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Operate with technical skill the SAP Computerized Maintenance Management system.
  • Operate and monitor equipment and replenish materials as needed.
  • Quality reviews of equipment assigned to maintain safety and performance standards.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent degree/certificate.
  • Trade School certification preferred.
  • 2+ years of maintenance experience.
  • Excellent mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to read schematics.
  • Welding and Fabrication experience.
  • Experience working with Allen Bradley and Siemens PLC systems.
  • Ability to learn new software and interfaces quickly.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Carpentry, Electrical, HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning), Plumbing, Welding, Fabrication, docks and doors, security systems.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing, production operators, and industrial technology preferred.
  • Ability to work weekends and holidays as directed by the business.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds.
