2nd Shift Production Line Lead

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Work with Production Supervisor and Operator Technicians to operate a filler machine on our production lines
• Monitor line to ensure the line workers are able to keep up with the flow of product, paying attention to needs to pause the machine as-needed to troubleshoot “down the line” issues
• Ensure that production requirements and standards are met consistently
• Make every effort to increase productivity and efficiency without compromising quality
• Operate machinery correctly and maintain it with care
• Report any machinery issues to management
• Work cooperatively with the production team to meet quotas and goals
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Observe all safety guidelines and report safety concerns to management
• Follow all written and verbal instructions
• Attend all safety and production training
• Demonstrate a positive and professional attitude
• Team player with a solid work ethic who is always prompt and committed to maintaining consistent work attendance
• Show exceptional attention to detail as well as the adaptability to move to a different position in the production line as required

Requirements

• Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
• Ability to read, sort, check, count, and verify numbers
• Physically able to lift and manipulate heavy objects
• Clearly and concisely communicate verbally and in writing
• Experience, Education, And Training
• High school diploma/GED required
• Equivalent combinations of education and work experience will be considered
• Food & Beverage or perishable goods industry experience highly desirable

• To see, talk, and hear
• The employee is required to stand for up to 8 hours, and use their hands and fingers to handle, feel, or type
• The employee is also required to walk, reach with arms and hands, climb mezzanine stairs multiple times per day, balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
• The employee is required to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• Strong aromas of spice, allergens, and particles in the air
