2nd Shift Plant Operator Trainee
About the role
Build Your Career at H.G. Meigs! As a 2nd Shift Plant Operator Trainee, you will work as part of a team to ensure the overall successful operation of the terminal. Functions include loading and unloading of trucks, unloading rail cars, basic maintenance activities, upkeep of operational documentation and maintaining standard plant operations.
Essential Functions
- Willingness to abide by safety policies and adhere to the policies/practices
- Raw material receiving activities
- Product shipment activities
- Manufacturing of asphalt products
- Maintain required documentation regarding daily operation activity
- Maintain appropriate plant operations by adjusting plant equipment
- Perform general plant facility maintenance
- Troubleshoot process issues

Education Qualifications
Preferred High School or Equivalent
Experience Qualifications
Preferred 1+ years industry experience
