About the role
Heidelberg Materials is seeking a 2nd Shift Plant Maintenance Mechanic in Ennis, TX.
Responsibilities
- Repair and maintain a variety of heavy construction equipment
- Follow safety and operational guidelines
- Demonstrate skills by maintaining heavy equipment to keep operations running smoothly
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Completion of an apprenticeship program or certification strongly preferred
- Minimum 2 years of prior maintenance experience
- Mining operations and aggregate products experience a plus
- MSHA training a plus
Qualifications
- Welding experience preferred
Skills
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, push, pull, twist, climb, balance, bend, lift up to 75 lbs., work in confined spaces, wear respiratory and other personal protective equipment
