Freight Breakers LLC is hiring dependable team members for a part-time weekend warehouse position in West Jordan, Utah. This role is a great fit for individuals looking for consistent weekend work and who are comfortable with physical, hands-on responsibilities. You'll help move and process freight while working as part of a fast-paced warehouse team.
Responsibilities
- Load boxes from conveyor belts into trailers by hand.
- Unload packages from trailers and place them onto conveyor systems.
- Scan packages using handheld scanners.
- Sort shipments into the correct cages and staging areas.
- Move cages and freight as directed.
- Arrange packages safely and efficiently inside trailers.
- Maintain productivity while keeping accuracy and safety a priority.
- Follow warehouse procedures and safety guidelines.
Pay
Employees are paid based on the amount of freight processed, providing an opportunity to increase earnings through productivity. Average earnings: $16–$25 per hour. Top performers: $25–$35 per hour. Pay is based on trailers/cases loaded or unloaded. Strong, consistent performance can increase earning potential.
Schedule
Saturday & Sunday, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM. Two scheduled shifts per week, 12-hour shifts, part-time. Additional hours may occasionally be available based on business needs.
Requirements
- Maintain reliable attendance and arrive on time.
- Lift and carry packages weighing 5–50 lbs. repeatedly.
- Perform physical work and remain active for extended periods.
- Work efficiently in a busy warehouse environment.
- Follow instructions and established safety procedures.
- Maintain accuracy while working at a steady pace.
- Work well with other team members.
- Provide reliable transportation to the West Jordan location.
- Successfully complete a background check and drug screening.
