2nd shift Packer

Job Summary/ Job Duties

• Prepares cartons/carton displays, manually packs/palletizes product, and completes final quality inspection of finished goods.
• Folds, tapes, sorts, and labels cartons, secures carton ends together, and places cartons/trays on the work area.
• Checks for product integrity, removes out of specifications product, and communicates packaging problems.
• Fills cartons/displays based on packaging specs, ensures correct labeling, tapes and seals cartons, stacks cartons/trays on pallets/skids, and uses a pallet jack if necessary.
• Cleans work area, clears loose product, discards defective items, sweeps floors, and follows instructions for safe lifting/carrying.
• Performs sanitation tasks as directed, prepares line for startup, assists with equipment changeovers, operates tray making and/or stapling machines, reports issues, and performs other duties as required.
• Maintains a clean and organized work area, keeps aisles/exits clear, and removes trash from the floor.

Individual Base Pay

Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training.
