2nd Shift Packaging Specialist, Manufacturing up to $21.25/hr-2

About the Role

A Packaging Specialist ensures smooth shift operations by organizing products and materials to meet production goals. This role supports bagger operators, monitors smokehouse product status, and fills in for team members as needed.

Responsibilities

• Ensure bagger operators receive bags as needed and check on smokehouse product status.
• Stock necessary supplies and PPE before shifts and prepare lines for the next run after breaks.
• Issue Inteli labels into Radley, check WIP inventory via Business Objectives, and assist department flow by retrieving trees and delivering bag reels.
• Communicate with the Smokehouse to coordinate product needs.
• Train on all positions in the Ready-to-Eat (RTE) department and fill in as needed.
• Follow GMPs, SOPs, HACCP procedures, Quality Plan work instructions, and plant rules.
• Perform other job functions as required.

Requirements

• Ability to communicate in English (verbal and written).
• Basic computer skills for data entry and system navigation.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness to work in temperatures below 40 degrees.
