2nd Shift Maintenance Technician

About The Role
Eastridge Workforce Solutions is partnering with a well-established manufacturing organization seeking an experienced Electro/Mechanical Technician to support the maintenance, repair, and reliability of automated production equipment within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role plays a critical part in maximizing equipment uptime through preventive maintenance, advanced troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives. Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial electrical and mechanical equipment
- Diagnose issues involving motors, PLC-controlled equipment, sensors, conveyors, pumps, control panels, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, and automated machinery
- Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance to maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, blueprints, and technical documentation
- Troubleshoot and repair 480V three-phase electrical systems, VFDs, motor controls, and associated electrical components
- Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, process improvements, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Perform equipment calibration, testing, and startup activities as needed
- Document maintenance activities, repairs, parts usage, and completed work orders accurately
- Maintain compliance with OSHA regulations, GMP standards, food safety requirements, and company safety policies
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and maintenance teams to support operational goals
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Requirements
- Minimum of three (3) years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong electrical troubleshooting experience with 480V three-phase electrical systems
- Experience troubleshooting VFDs, motor controls, PLC inputs and outputs, industrial sensors, hydraulics, and pneumatic systems
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings
- Strong root cause analysis and troubleshooting skills with a focus on improving equipment reliability
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize work independently
- Associate degree, technical certification, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant industrial maintenance experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Industrial Maintenance, Electromechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics certification
- Welding and fabrication experience
- Experience supporting automated manufacturing equipment
- PLC troubleshooting and diagnostic experience

Pay
The hourly rate for this position is expected to be between $30.00 and $38.00 per hour, depending on geographic location, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
Work Environment
This position requires working in an industrial manufacturing environment around moving mechanical equipment. Frequent standing, walking, bending, climbing, reaching, lifting, and equipment troubleshooting are required throughout the workday. Candidates must be able to lift up to 75 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE). The work environment may include elevated noise levels and exposure to industrial manufacturing conditions.
