2nd Shift Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electromechanical production equipment including motors, conveyors, sensors, pumps, PLC-controlled equipment, and electrical control panels
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic system failures to minimize downtime and restore production efficiently
- Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, electrical schematics, and technical documentation
- Perform scheduled preventive and predictive maintenance on manufacturing equipment
- Support equipment upgrades, installations, and continuous improvement initiatives alongside production and engineering teams
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, repair documentation, and parts inventory usage
- Follow OSHA regulations, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), company safety procedures, and quality standards
- Assist with equipment calibration, testing, and other maintenance-related duties as assigned
Requirements
- Minimum of three (3) years of industrial maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment
- Strong electrical troubleshooting experience including 480V three-phase systems, motor controls, VFDs, and electrical distribution
- Experience troubleshooting PLC-controlled equipment, mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, sensors, and automated production equipment
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams
- Strong root cause analysis and troubleshooting skills with a focus on reducing equipment downtime
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Industrial maintenance certification, equivalent technical training, or comparable combination of education and experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Electromechanical or Industrial Maintenance certification
- Welding and fabrication experience
- Experience supporting automated manufacturing or packaging equipment
- Experience working in a GMP-regulated manufacturing environment
Pay
The hourly rate for this position is expected to be between $26.00–$42.00 per hour, depending on geographic location, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
