Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal operation.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
- Repair or replace faulty components to minimize downtime.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
- Auxiliary in the installation of new equipment and upgrades.
- Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with all safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to improve maintenance processes and procedures.
Skills And Qualifications
- Proven experience in maintenance or a related technical field.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
Requirements
- Core Responsibilities: Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on machinery and systems; troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems; operate and maintain air compressors, variable frequency drives, PLCs, and sensors; perform welding, brazing, and fabrication of parts, guards, and equipment; maintain hydraulic and pneumatic equipment; use precision tools, test equipment, and material handling equipment; follow safety protocols, report incidents, and wear required PPE; document maintenance activities and reconcile work assignments at shift end.
- Education & Experience: High school diploma or equivalent preferred; technical vocational training or military experience preferred; minimum 2 - 4 years’ experience in maintenance roles; experience in a non-climate-controlled environment is often preferred.
- Work Environment: Non-climate-controlled environment; dusty environment; operates after hours, requiring stamina and adaptability to work shift; must be able to work in industrial settings with potential exposure to chemicals, solvents, and heavy equipment.
