2nd Shift Machine Operator

About the role

The Machine Operator is responsible for operating production equipment that fills liquid into various container types. This position involves making adjustments to equipment as needed to produce quality product meeting customer specifications. The Machine Operator II also handles labeling, packaging, and quality assurance checks.

Responsibilities

• Refer to work orders to set up production lines appropriately
• Lead the process for setting up production filling lines and operating in accordance with established procedures and guidelines
• Facilitate and lead adjustments needed to settings and make repairs to obtain product specifications and quality standards
• Document activities accurately per GMP as required using Product History Records (PHRs)
• Maintain quality control by monitoring bottles on the line for quality
• Ensure product filling and packaging equipment operate effectively
• Make necessary adjustments to establish correct fill
• Communicate to manufacturing leaders about non-conforming products
• Meet and exceed production requirements based on filling line capacity
• Assist with training for other manufacturing personnel
• Maintain quality procedures and follow safety guidelines
• Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly work area
• Operate forklift and pallet lift as needed

Requirements

• Must be able to read, write, and speak English
• Basic math skills and mechanical aptitude with prior mechanical experience required
• Positive attitude for self and towards others
