Responsibilities
- Operate machinery for steel fabrication (plasma table or table saw) and processing tasks.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints to understand project specifications.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Monitor and adjust machine settings to ensure precise cutting and drilling as required.
- Collaborate with project managers and team members to meet production deadlines and standards.
- Troubleshoot and rectify operational issues with machinery in a timely manner.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols and industry regulations.
- Proven experience operating machinery.
- Strong understanding of metal fabrication processes and techniques.
- Able to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Knowledge of safety standards and best practices in construction.
- Proficient in basic computer skills and familiarity with machine control software.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
