2nd Shift Machine Operator

Join a top-notch manufacturing company in Huntington Beach! We are seeking dependable, safety-focused Machine Operators to join our growing team on 2nd shift.

About the role

Responsible for the safe, efficient, and quality operation of rotational molding equipment. This role includes machine operation, mold setup and changeovers, quality inspections, basic troubleshooting, and maintaining production standards.

Pay

$20.00/hour (Base Pay: $19.00 + $1.00 Shift Differential)

Schedule

Monday–Friday | 2:25 PM – 10:30 PM
Overtime and weekends required as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor rotational molding machines to produce quality parts.
• Perform mold setups, startups, and changeovers while minimizing downtime.
• Inspect molds, tooling, and equipment; report mechanical issues and perform minor maintenance.
• Monitor cycle times, part weights, and product quality.
• Troubleshoot basic processing issues to maintain production efficiency.
• Complete production paperwork, process documentation, and maintenance logs.
• Prepare molds and tooling for upcoming production runs.
• Coordinate material and color changes as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following all PPE and safety requirements.
• Work collaboratively with the production team.
• Work overtime and adjusted schedules when production demands require.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of manufacturing or machine operation experience, preferably in a molding environment.
• Ability to read work instructions, perform basic math, and communicate effectively.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Comfortable standing, walking, bending, lifting, and performing repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
