Position: 2nd Shift Machine Operator
Job Summary
We are looking for a Machine Operator to work directly under our Floor Supervisor. This position will gain first-hand knowledge of EPS manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities
- Machine operator for hot wire cutting lines with efficient consistent workflow to maximize efficiency while adhering to company policies and safety procedures.
- Stretch wrap bundles as needed/palletizing.
- Track block numbers.
- Tape measure/ruler knowledge.
- Adaptive to change (Moving from one line to another).
- Drives the line.
Qualifications
- Hardworking and enthusiastic personality.
- Must be minimum of 18 years of age.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to work independently with limited supervision.
- Able to manage and set priorities in a changing environment.
- High degree of self-motivation and flexibility.
- Analytical and structured work approach.
Physical Demands
Position may require periods of intense physical exertion in conditions of low to high temperatures and humidity. Position requires the ability to stand, bend, and stretch over extended periods of time during a normal work shift. Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
