2nd Shift Machine Feeder

Pay Rate: $18.57/hr. | Shift: 2nd Shift (Full-Time Hourly; OT and weekends may be required)

About the role

You will prepare, assist the operator and assistant operator in maintaining corrugated manufacturing press machines (rotary and Bobst die cutters, Flexo folder gluers, labeler and folder gluer machinery).

Responsibilities

• Observe and monitor machine operations to detect malfunctions and determine needed adjustments.
• Feed, catch, and stack corrugated sheets at machine feed and stacking stations.
• Assist machine crew in order setups, including setting heads, mounting print plates and dies, and maintaining safety, quality, and housekeeping standards.
• Ensure all orders are completed to specifications, including following “special instructions” when applicable.
• Perform other duties as assigned by managers, supervisors, or shift leaders, which may include parts and hand assembly.
• Comply with all IPS Safety rules and Quality policies and protocols.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to learn and understand machine line-up and all operations of corrugated manufacturing.
• Ability to interpret instructions given in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
• Ability to learn and accurately utilize KIWI for setup, run instructions, and production times.
• Must be dependable and reliable.
• Ability to work in an environment that is often hot in the summer and cool in the winter.
• Position requires standing throughout the entire shift and moderate to heavy lifting at times.
