About the role
The Logistic Team Leader manages their team’s activity and organizes their work to achieve defined objectives. They are a line manager responsible for the quality of work carried out in compliance with internal processes, health and safety rules for goods and people, and customer specifications. The role involves approximately two-thirds leadership at Level 3+ and one-third operational support at Level 1.
Responsibilities
- Plans, manages, and controls teamwork, defining clear rules, objectives, and expectations.
- Communicates the roadmap and final goals, understanding team members’ motivations to inspire and reward their work.
- Establishes a periodic routine (e.g., briefings) for communication, monitoring, and measuring activity and objectives.
- Provides random and formal feedback (recognition, improvement, reframing) to encourage and support the team.
- Ensures all employees perform at the expected level, offering support or training as needed.
- Promotes and supports process improvement, internal innovation programs, and encourages team participation.
- Scales workforce and equipment based on volume forecasts to meet performance requirements.
- Prioritizes operations according to field constraints and provides supervision.
- Maintains regular communication with the customer and coordinates execution of specific requirements.
- Applies health and safety rules and procedures for ID Logistics and local regulations within their area of responsibility.
- Analyzes equipment checklists and ensures corrective actions are taken according to defined procedures.
- Anticipates operational problems and proposes continuous improvement actions within their scope.
- Organizes the workplace in accordance with procedures and sector objectives.
- Verifies procedures and objectives are up to date and responds to audits as required by unit certifications.
- Provides and monitors key performance indicators, ensuring continuity of information between the team, hierarchy, and internal partners.
- Analyzes and communicates deviations between planned and actual values, initiating corrective measures in coordination with operational management.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED; or equivalent combination of experience and education.
- A-level to 2 years of study in higher education or equivalent through experience.
- Training in transport, logistics, and management.
- At least 1 year of professional experience in a team leadership function.
Pay
$22.33 per hour

Wednesday–Saturday, 7:00 PM–5:30 AM
