2nd Shift - Industrial Painter

About the role

This role involves hands-on industrial painting tasks such as sandblasting, surface preparation, and coating application. The focus is on full-process work rather than repetitive production spraying.

Responsibilities

• Perform sandblasting of structural steel and equipment components
• Grind, clean, and prepare surfaces to meet coating specifications
• Ensure proper surface profiles for coating adhesion
• Mix and apply industrial coatings according to specifications
• Prime and finish large steel components and assemblies
• Monitor environmental and application conditions for proper curing
• Inspect finished surfaces for coverage, consistency, and durability
• Correct defects and rework surfaces as needed
• Ensure finished product meets quality and customer standards
• Maintain paint equipment, tools, and storage areas
• Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and environmental controls
• Clock in and out on time
• Work collaboratively with production and quality teams

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Experience painting structural steel, heavy equipment, or industrial components
• Experience with sandblasting equipment

Qualifications

• Authorization to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship
• Eligibility to access export-controlled information where applicable
• Willingness to undergo a background check in accordance with applicable laws
• Willingness to undergo a pre-employment drug screen and randomized drug testing during employment
• Ability to meet the posted work schedule and required hours
