Responsibilities

  • Use a variety of racking methods to process parts.
  • Prepare parts for shipment to customers.
  • Set up and operate annealing furnaces and degreasers.
  • Clean, rack, and heat-treat components.
  • Read, interpret, and comprehend process prints, engineering and quality standards, and other informational drawings and work instructions.
  • Monitor part-specific dimensional tolerances during operations and identify non-conforming part features.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and system inputs (shop traveler, labor charging, production tracking software, inspection results, etc.).
  • Identify and report process inefficiencies, machine issues, and improvement opportunities.
  • Follow work priorities to accomplish production goals.
  • Handle contact with coolants, cleaning fluids, oils (petroleum-based products), and chemical vapors during normal manufacturing.
  • Obtain and maintain required Inspection Certification(s).
  • Perform additional responsibilities and duties as assigned.

What You Will Learn

  • Set-up and operation of annealing furnaces and degreasers.
  • Reading and interpreting GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
  • Cross-functional collaboration through various manufacturing processes.
  • Experience with a variety of inspection equipment.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent, or in the absence of a diploma, 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Basic math skills, including adding and subtracting decimals.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to learn and use multiple computer applications (including email, internet, and job-specific software).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with measurement equipment (e.g., gauges, calipers).
  • Experience with basic hand tools.
  • Experience reading, interpreting, and following blueprints.

Schedule

2nd shift: Monday – Friday, 3:00 pm - 11:00 pm
