2nd shift -Finisher / Blast / Polish (Level 1)

Key Responsibilities

• Operate finishing equipment, including blasting and polishing machines, to achieve desired surface finishes on medical device components.
• Inspect components before and after finishing processes to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of finishing equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
• Collaborate with quality control and engineering teams to address any discrepancies or defects in finished products.
• Document and report production data, including quantities finished and any issues encountered during the process.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Continuously seek opportunities for process improvement to enhance efficiency and product quality.

Qualifications

• Required Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Required Experience: Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred.
• Required Skills And Abilities: Ability to operate and maintain finishing, blasting, and polishing equipment; strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards; basic understanding of safety protocols and procedures in a manufacturing setting; good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity; ability to read and interpret technical drawings and instructions; effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment; willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques and technologies.
