2nd Shift Electronics Assembler

About the role

As a CPI Electronics Assembler, you will work on tasks that may include assembling electronic component subassemblies and products. You will occupy a key role in working with and for a company that builds the physical infrastructure that powers, protects and secures the world's digital technology.

Responsibilities

• Perform assembly and testing of PDUs
• Meet quality and productivity standards
• Follow standard operating procedures and schedule to meet daily demand
• Maintain ESD safe work environment
• Handle and assemble small parts and cables
• Pack, kit, and clean subassemblies and products
• Multi-task and meet deadlines
• Comply with safety requirements and notify Team Leader of safety issues
• Maintain a clean work area and assist in cleaning common areas
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent education preferred
• One year experience in electronic industry, PDU assembly or box build experience a plus
• Ability to comprehend spoken and written English
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and engineering specifications
• Capable of using measuring devices as required for product inspection
• Available and willing to work extended hours and/or weekends as production demand dictates

Physical/Environmental Requirements

• Frequent sitting, standing, walking, carrying, stooping, and crouching
• Lift up to 50 pounds
