2nd Shift CNC & Manual Machine Operator

Responsibilities

• Read and understand shop orders and blueprints.
• Utilize a wide variety of gauging tools and maintain quality standards.
• Apply sufficient product knowledge to independently set up and operate CNC and manual gear cutting machines.
• Participate in, support, and implement continuous improvement activities to eliminate waste and streamline processes for increased productivity and quality.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment and other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
• Work under direct supervision.
• Multitask as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness in the work area.
• Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
• Regular attendance is required.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• 0 to 2 years of experience.
• Beginning to working knowledge of subject matter.
• Ability to understand and follow directions.
• Basic computer skills.
• Manual dexterity.
• CNC machining experience preferred.
