Fabricate metal components by manual machining and operating CNC machines.

Responsibilities

• Run multiple CNC machines simultaneously, efficiently running parts through the equipment.
• Operate band saws, drill presses, and other manual machining equipment.
• Perform machining operations for milling, boring, grinding, lathe.
• Create product based on work orders and drawings.
• Use a wide range of precision measuring instruments to maintain close tolerance.
• Complete reports, issue material to work order as required, file prints.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Ability to read and understand blueprints.
• Proficient in part inspection, including use of calipers, bore gauges, thread gauges, and micrometers.
• Familiarity with CNC controllers.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Team player with strong communication skills (written and oral).
• Basic math, reading, and writing skills.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Basic understanding of ISO9001 and LEAN.
• Ability to work unsupervised.
• Fast learner, able to pick up new processes quickly.

Qualifications

• CNC Operator Certificate or equivalent experience.

Pay

Compensation range: $18.64 - $24.24 - $29.83 USD. Offer amount determined by experience and review of internal talent.
