2nd Shift CNC Assistant

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Load raw material and unload finished parts from CNC machines
• Debur, clean, and stage parts for inspection or next operation
• Absorb with machine setups under direct supervision
• Keep machine area clean and stocked with required materials
• Move parts and materials using hand trucks or shop carts
• Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE
• Perform other duties as assigned by Machinist or Supervisor

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Basic math skills
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing or shop experience
• Familiarity with hand tools and measuring instruments

• Continuous standing and walking
• Frequent lifting up to 50 lbs
• Exposure to shop noise
• Exposure to metal chips
• Exposure to coolants
