2nd Shift Clamp Truck Operator
Georgia-Pacific is seeking safety-oriented individuals for the position of 2nd shift Clamp Truck Operator at our Asheboro, NC facility.
About the Role
This role is currently open for 2nd shift positions only. Candidates must be flexible to work any shift, including first, second, or third shifts, and are expected to work weekends and holidays as needed. Orientation will be conducted on 1st shift (7am-3pm), followed by assignment to a permanent 3rd shift position.
Shift Details
- 1st shift: Monday - Friday, 7am-3pm
- 2nd shift: Monday - Friday, 3pm-11pm
- 3rd shift: Monday - Friday, 11pm-7am
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a sit-down clamp truck to load and unload trailers
- Accurately record all inbound and outbound shipments
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure a safe work environment
- Remove debris from warehouse areas
- Lift up to 35 lbs as required
- Promote and adhere to safe work practices and safety rules and regulations
- Perform tasks such as lifting, walking, stooping, standing, and sitting for up to 12 hours per day
- Maintain the quality of products in warehouse areas and warehouse inventory
Qualifications
- Experience operating a clamp truck to load and unload trailers
- Experience in a manufacturing, military, landscaping, carpentry, construction, warehouse, production, or farming environment

- Experience working in the corrugated industry
Compensation
The starting salary is $22.55 per hour. Additional pay of $2.00 per hour is offered for 2nd shift work. The actual compensation may vary based on skills and performance.
