2nd Shift Chassis Assembly

Reports to: Supervisor, Chassis | Department: Operations | Work Model: Full-time, on-site – No Travel Required

About the role

Chassis assembly marks the beginning of the main line production process. Following engineered drawings and work instructions, the Chassis Assembler constructs mechanical components, sub-assemblies, and power supply assemblies. Specialized equipment is occasionally used to assemble, modify, and test components, ensuring all assemblies meet quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical assemblies
• Assemble power supply assemblies
• Verify that the finished product meets quality standards as designated on the drawings
• Manage time effectively
• Closely work with engineering on design/documentation issues and recommend improvements for manufacturability and quality
• Operate tools and production equipment

Requirements

• Must be a US Person (US Citizen, person granted US Permanent Resident Card or any individual who is granted status as a "protected person”)
• GED/High School Diploma
• 2+ years of mechanical experience
• Working knowledge of basic computer functions
• Ability to comprehend mechanical drawings
• Hands-on mechanical skills
• Skilled in soldering electronic components
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to troubleshoot individually or as a team
• Ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines
• Ability to work independently and in a team

Preferred Qualifications

• IPC certification

Working Conditions

• Work is primarily performed in a manufacturing environment with consistent exposure to the manufacturing floor and testing environments
• May require lifting up to 25 lbs and standing for extended periods of time
