Job Description Reports to: Production Supervisor Job Purpose: Line Operators run automated lines, monitor equipment during production and ensure compliance with all quality and safety standards. The ideal candidate would have 2-5 years of experience and has u-bolt and bent bolt experience. This candidate would be running wire rod raw material into the finished product. Key Responsibilities And Accountabilities Set up and operate line according to production specificationsInspect equipment before and monitor equipment during production.Confirm that it is working properly by checking process parameters and indicators.Examine work pieces for defects and measure work pieces with fixtures or templates to ensure conformance with specificationsReport production quantities accurately and according to the company’s recording processTroubleshoot mechanical issues and identify the cause of errors, problems and defectsMechanical aptitude and ability to perform basic machine maintenanceOperate material handling equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, overhead crane, etc to move raw material and parts as neededAble to lift up to 50lbsPerform other duties as required or assigned by supervisor Follow all OSHA and internal safety standards Qualifications Qualifications Previous experience in a production manufacturing environment is requiredExperience with standard shop measuring tools and hand tools requiredExceptional attendance record requiredExperience operating metal stamping presses preferredAbility to perform standard shop computations (math)Ability to read schematics (blue prints) and engineering drawingsAbility to perform basic maintenance of equipmentAbility to read, understand, follow and enforce safety procedures Ability to make administrative/procedural decisions and judgments, as well as work within a team environment Additional Information Phoenix Stamping Group, LLC offers a drug-free work place along with a competitive salary and benefits package.
