2nd Shift - Assembler--Lennox SD

Wilson Trailer is seeking full-time Assemblers for 2nd shift positions. This is an excellent career opportunity with a leader in the truck trailer industry. Openings are available on both day and night shifts; night shift runs 5:00 pm - 3:30 am Monday through Thursday.

Pay

Attractive starting wage with scheduled increases. Night shift receives a $1.00/hr differential.

Responsibilities

• Perform a safety inspection of hoist chains and all tools used to ensure safety.
• Use a huck gun, drill, and other handheld tools.
• Read and understand production and print orders.
• Read and understand a tape measure.
• Keep a clean and organized work area at all times.

This individual is responsible for the above functions, but not limited to, and is subject to other tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• Mechanical aptitude

• Pass a pre-employment drug test and background check
• High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)
• At least eighteen years of age
• Functional vision (normal or corrected), hearing, and speech
• Ability to report to work punctually
• Ability to access, input, and retrieve information from a computer
• Ability to use a keyboard and mouse or alternative input devices
• Ability to understand and follow safety rules and regulations
• Ability to meet physical demands of the role (see Physical Demands section)
• Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including protective eyewear, hearing protection, hardhat, safety-toe boots, and protective gloves

Skills

• Average computer skills; ability to locate prints and enlarge them to clarify orders occasionally
• Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate clearly and concisely in English
