About the Role
This position involves accurately moving raw materials to and from the warehouse for use by dryer personnel and completing transactions in D365, including reporting all finished products. The role also plays a key part in the cycle count program.
Responsibilities
- Receive raw materials (powders, pallets, chemicals, etc.) and inspect trailers and materials before unloading.
- Ensure accurate inventory and proper storage of received products.
- Load finished products onto tractor trailers without damage and inspect trailers before loading.
- Accurately remove finished products from designated areas prior to shipping and maintain inventory records.
- Transport raw materials to powder dryers and other production areas.
- Deliver manufactured products from dryers and AG operations to designated storage areas and maintain accurate records.
- Maintain neat and orderly warehouse storage areas.
- Safely and effectively use a Hi Lift Forklift for moving and stacking incoming and outgoing product.
- Inspect incoming and outgoing trailers for pests, odors, filth, and damaged product.
- Follow Balchem Corporation inventory control systems and record all inventory movements legibly.
- Keep production systems stocked with necessary raw materials and monitor/maintain robot operation.
- Transport finished products to the warehouse, ensuring proper storage and inventory.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment by immediately cleaning up liquid or powder spills.
- Follow all Balchem Corporation GMPs, Safety Guidelines, and other stated policies.
- Perform other duties as required.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High School Diploma or GED required; ability to follow all written and oral instructions.
- Must be self-disciplined, a team player, and able to handle emergency situations common to the operation.
- Ability to maintain personal cleanliness and follow GMPs as described in company guidelines.
- Must be able to write clearly and in an organized fashion.
- Proficient in using a computer, including MS Office, D365, and other company-provided software.
