About the role

The position begins with the 2026-2027 school year. It is a full-time (1.0 FTE) position at Granger Elementary School.

Responsibilities

• Teach core content area(s) aligned with the USBE's Core Curriculum.
• Create and implement lesson plans and instructional materials.
• Adapt curriculum to meet individual student needs.
• Use technology and other resources to enhance student learning.
• Supervise students in various settings including indoor and outdoor activities.
• Evaluate students' academic and social growth.
• Communicate with parents through various means.
• Participate in professional development and committees.
• Model professional and ethical conduct.

Requirements

• Valid Utah Professional Elementary teaching license.
• Out-of-state Professional Elementary license with a copy of the license uploaded.
• Completion of the Utah Science of Reading Requirement (S.B. 241).
• ESL endorsement preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Cleared criminal background check.
• Valid Utah Professional Educator License for the State of Utah.
