About the role
Responsible for inspecting residential and commercial properties to ensure compliance with local building codes and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Inspect properties for structural integrity, electrical systems, plumbing, and heating systems.
- Identify and document any defects or violations of building codes.
- Prepare detailed inspection reports and communicate findings to property owners.
- Ensure all inspections are conducted safely and in accordance with company policies.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work independently and under tight deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience in construction or related field.
- Knowledge of local building codes and safety regulations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Basic computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
