Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Graduation equivalent
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
• Excellent work habits and attendance record

Job Responsibilities/Duties

• Maintain an air of courteousness and confidentiality at all times, following all FERPA guidelines.
• Assist classroom teachers in preparing instructional materials and setting up learning activities.
• Aid in managing classroom behavior and implementing classroom management strategies to promote a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Work with individual students or small groups of students to reinforce initially introduced concepts.
• Assist individual students in need of special attention, services, and instruction.
• Assist teacher in maintaining procedures and records.
• Collaborate effectively with teachers, administrators, and other support staff to meet the needs of students.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
