The Visalia Unified School District seeks a Paraprofessional for Transitional Kindergarten (TK) who is bilingual in Spanish. This position is located at Mountain View Elementary School.

Requirements / Qualifications

- Copy of Transcript (College Transcripts including Child Development units) - NCLB Compliance (Associates Degree or College Transcripts or Instructional Aide Certificate) - Proof of HS Graduation (High School Diploma, HS Transcripts, GED or Higher) - Test Results/Materials (Applicants bilingual in Spanish are required to take the VUSD assessment. Comments and Other Information

• The Language Assessment Center conducts assessments in the afternoon, after 2:30 p.m. • Candidates have two initial attempts to pass the Bilingual Assessment. After the second attempt, they must wait 10 business days before a third and final attempt. • Candidates will receive a “Pass” or “Fail” form via email, which must be uploaded to Edjoin by the candidate.
