About the role

Provides administrative and technical services to operations department by implementing administrative systems, procedures, and policies, and assists in the management of daily departmental operations.

Responsibilities

  • Prepares and files state regulatory forms for new well completions, re-completions, multi-completions, saltwater injection wells, disposal wells, and other permits, along with well research and data required for these permits.
  • Distributes authorizations for expenditures (AFE's) including approvals from the working interest owners.
  • Coordinates set-ups for wells for potential tests, mechanical integrity tests, and other required regulatory tests.
  • Produce and maintain daily workover reports, tubing details, acid, swabbing, perforating, and wireline reports, as needed by team.
  • Coordinates pressure surveys and maintains a database on static runs, as needed by team.
  • Drafts and updates wellbore schematics and flowline maps, as needed.
  • Reviews completed tubing details on workovers to update company maps and database records.
  • Maintains the departmental database and files, and manages departmental records.
  • Answers, responds to, and/or appropriately directs calls from staff, public, and outside vendors.
  • Coordinates special projects as assigned by Area Operations Manager.
  • Adheres to the company's values - integrity, ownership, urgency, alignment and innovation.

  • Adheres to established work schedule, attendance standards and is punctual to work and meetings.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

  • One (1) year minimum oil and gas exploration operations tech experience.
  • Ability to accurately solve problems and exceptional proficiency in data management.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, supervisors, other departments, officials, and the public.
  • Ability to complete multiple, diverse tasks of differing priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Outstanding administrative and organizational skills.

Skills

  • Proficiency in the use and application of the following software. Required: Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams). Preferred: Working knowledge of SAP, Siteview/Wellview, PowerBI

Education

  • Required: Graduation from a high school or GED equivalent or any equivalent combination of education and experience demonstrating sufficient knowledge, ability and skill to handle the duties and responsibilities of the position.
  • Preferred: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four-year university or college.
