About the role

Be a part of our mission-driven Health Services team, dedicated to the well-being of Aurora's diverse community. As an itinerant nurse, you'll be the primary nurse for 1-2 elementary schools, with the opportunity to flex across the district and make a meaningful impact.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to students in elementary schools
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for students
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other healthcare providers
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
• Participate in professional development activities

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited program
• Current RN license in Colorado
• Experience in school-based nursing preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• Passing score on the NCLEX-RN
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
