The Naval Science Instructor (NSI) must have knowledge of audiovisual presentation methods, curriculum planning, Navy educational programs, drill and ceremonies, and educational administration, including tests and measurements.

• Licensing as established by Naval Service Training Command and the New Mexico Department of Education.
