The COACH, Wrestling position at San Juan High School is available until filled.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive wrestling program aligned with the school’s mission and vision.
• Provide instruction and guidance to students in accordance with state and local regulations.
• Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and guidelines.
• Collaborate with other coaches and staff to maintain a positive and inclusive environment.
• Attend meetings and training sessions as required.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Experience coaching wrestling at the high school level.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education or related field preferred.
• Experience working with diverse student populations.
• Knowledge of current wrestling techniques and strategies.

Skills

• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
• Proficient in using technology for lesson planning and communication.
