Scholar Support

• Manage mental health-related obstacles such as providing individual, family, and/or group therapy for scholars and attending scheduled family conferences and staff meetings.
• Implement interventions for all modalities of direct service to scholars.
• Manage and provide interventions for scholars with exceptionalities or identified within special education.

Teacher and Team Support

• Provide consultation to staff on mental health issues impacting scholars and families.
• Support teachers in all ways, assisting teachers as they are the primary support for our scholars.
• Participate in all Professional Development, including teaching-specific PD and support students if needed.
• Ready to take part in team duties such as hallway monitoring, daily duties, etc.

Community and Family Partnerships

• Network with other communities, partnerships with community-based mental health organizations, and public agencies to broker resources for scholars and families.
• Maintain ongoing communication with scholars’ families regarding interventions and progress.
• Aid families in addressing scholar behavior to create consistency between home and school.
