About the role
The Position Qualified candidates must possess a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university and a Michigan Teaching Certificate with at least one of the following endorsements: Integrated Science (DI) or Science (DX) or (DQ)Physical Science (DP) or Earth Science (DH) or (IH)Biology (DA) Chemistry (DC) or (IC) Physics (DE) or (IE) may be consideredZC & ZK middle level "all subjects" endorsements will also be considered.
Responsibilities
- Use creative instructional strategies along with best practices for classroom Teaching Which Promotes Interactive Learning And Student Engagement Through Technology, Literature, And Writing.
- The Candidate Must Be Adept With Technology And Ready To Consider Emergent Techniques To Enhance Student Achievement.
- Aide in research, development, implementation, and evaluation of the Science curriculum;
- Develop and implement creative and engaging lesson plans;
- Incorporate practical application of content knowledge in lesson plans;
- Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of each learner;
- Develop and implement progressive classroom-based interventions;
- Utilize progress monitoring;
- Maintain accurate student classroom records.
Requirements
This position reports to the Building Principal.
