The San Juan Unified School District is seeking a full-time teacher for Carriage Elementary. This position is permanent and open for one opening.

Responsibilities
- Teach core academic subjects to students in grades K-5
- Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards

- Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment
Requirements
- Valid California teaching credential
- At least two years of relevant teaching experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
- Master's degree in education or related field
- Advanced degree in special education or related field (for special education positions)

Pay
The salary range for this position is $60,000 - $126,000 annually. Candidates must be internal employees to be placed on Column 5; for external candidates, Column 4 is the maximum incoming placement.
Schedule
The length of the work year for teachers (elementary/secondary), middle school, and K-8 counselors/teacher librarians is 10 months/year, 186 days/year, 5 days/week, with a professional work day.
