Job Functions

• Develops and implements annual Individualized Educational Program (IEP) plans for students.
• Provides research-based, specialized instruction to address the instructional goals contained within each student's IEP.
• Collaborates with classroom teachers to provide classroom accommodations, instructional modifications, adaptive equipment, and behavior intervention plans.
• Schedules IEP team meetings and serves as the primary contact for the parent/guardian.
• Maintains students' Special Education records according to state and federal regulations and district procedures.
• Manages student behavior and develops and implements behavior intervention plans when needed.
• Provides instructional direction to paraprofessional support staff.
• Represents the school and community in a positive manner.
• Maintains strict confidentiality regarding information on student records and in the school setting.

Pay

$50006 - $89915 per year
