The San Juan Unified School District is seeking a part-time teacher to work at Oakview Community School, Skycrest Elementary, and Woodside K-8. The position is open until filled and applications are accepted weekly.
About the role
This position is open to internal employees only for placement on Column 5. External candidates can be placed on Column 4/Step 11. Additional pay opportunities include $5,000 - $14,000 annual stipends for hard-to-staff Special Education positions, $2,000 annual stipends for counselor, social worker, and teacher librarian positions, $3,000 annual stipend for advanced degrees, and $1,000 - $4,500 annual stipends for various extra-curricular activities.
Responsibilities

Pay
The salary schedule for fully credentialed staff is $60,000 - $126,000/annually. Candidates must be internal employees to be placed on Column 5; for external candidates, Column 4/Step 11 is the maximum incoming placement.
Schedule
The length of the work year is 10 months/year, 186 days/year, 5 days/week, with a professional work day. The work day is 6 hours, with Monday, Thursday, and Friday at Oakview, Tuesday at Skycrest, and Wednesday at Woodside Elementary.
