About the role

Role details: 20‑year‑old transition student with a tracheostomy and G‑tube, uses a wheelchair. The nurse will accompany the student on a bus ride from Zion to Laremont and back each day and provide care throughout the school day.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 nursing care in the school setting.
• Accompany student on daily bus transportation between home and school.
• Monitor and manage tracheostomy, G‑tube, and wheelchair needs.
• Provide ongoing care and support throughout the school day.

Requirements

• Current RN or LPN license for the state of practice.
• Current PPD or chest X‑ray.
• Current BLS certification.
• One year of prior RN experience preferred.
