'26 - '27 School RN

Maxim Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to work in the school setting, providing care 1:1 or in a multi-needs classroom.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for student(s) with medical needs, including but not limited to:
  • Trach and vent care
  • G-tube feedings
  • Seizure monitoring and administration of rescue medications
  • Personal care
  • Diabetic care
• May ride the bus to and from school with patient

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license for the state of practice (LPN may be considered)
• Current Health Certificate (per facility contract or state regulation)
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray
• Current BLS card
• 2+ years of professional nursing experience (1 year with pediatrics or special needs)
• Experience with the following is preferred:
  • G-tube feeding
  • Seizures and seizure emergency medications
  • Diabetic and CGM skills
  • Suction and trach skills
  • Autism and behavior experience

Pay

$35 – $45 per hour
