About the role
The Enlarged City School District of Middletown is seeking a Physical Education/Health Educator for the 2026-27 school year. The position is probationary and requires current and applicable NYS certification in Physical Education 7-12 and Health Education.
Responsibilities
- Plan and instruct coursework
- Assess scholars' work and accuracy with feedback
- Create a warm, welcoming, and affirming classroom environment, set high expectations anchored in rigorous instruction, and utilize instructional strategies that adapt to diverse learning needs
- Perform customary duties associated with the position
Requirements
- Current and applicable NYS certification in Physical Education 7-12 and Health Education
- Fingerprint clearance
