26/27 Middle School Assistant Boys Soccer Coach ( Foreign Language Academy)

PURPOSE OF JOB

Provide instruction, leadership and supervision to middle school students participating in the sports program.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Affirm emphasis on the importance of teamwork, skill development, learning rules and strategies, and student-athlete improvement.
• Engage in academic monitoring with teachers, counselors, and other academic support staff.
• Supervise student-athletes before, during, and after practices and contests, including in locker rooms, on buses, and at all other times.
• Be present at all practices and games on time and remain until all student-athletes have left.
• Assume responsibility for constant care of equipment and inventory being used.
• Follow through on all required paperwork including, rosters, physicals, insurance forms, and parent consent forms.
• Provide information for transportation, facilities, officials, and game management.
• Conduct team and self in an ethical manner during practices and contests, always exemplifying the highest standards of sportsmanship.
• Coordinate the program and promote student athletes’ accomplishments academically and athletically.
• Continue professional growth through clinics and professional publications.
